They are tasked with determining the bankrupt person\u2019s assets and redistributing the funds raised to the creditors based on their rank and level of priority.<br><br>The\u00a0<strong>receiver<\/strong> \u00a0also draws up an annual report on the bankruptcy\u2019s situation for the court, setting out the status of any challenges to the declarations of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tcm.be\/en\/receivable\/\">receivables<\/a> \u00a0in particular.<br><br>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tcm.be\/en\/the-consequences-of-a-debtor-going-into-bankruptcy\/\">debtor\u2019s bankruptcy<\/a> \u00a0is therefore managed by the\u00a0<strong>receiver<\/strong> \u00a0under the supervision of the bankruptcy judge and the commercial court.<br><br>Updated 08\/08\/2017<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Definitions provided under this section refer to the Belgian situation; unless specified otherwise.
