The <strong>legal act <\/strong>differs from the <strong>legal fact<\/strong> , the consequences of which result from the law and not from the will of a single party (road accident, death, infringement).<br><br>A distinction is made between a <a href=\"https:\/\/tcm.be\/en\/unilateral-legal-act\/\"><strong>unilateral legal act <\/strong><\/a>and a <a href=\"https:\/\/tcm.be\/en\/bilateral-legal-act\/\"><strong>bilateral or multilateral legal act<\/strong><\/a> .<br><br>Updated 26\/02\/2018<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Definitions provided under this section refer to the Belgian situation; unless specified otherwise.
