This is a computerized bankruptcy database hence a step towards today\u2019s reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\nRegsol<\/a>\n\n\n\n \u00a0stands for Central Solvency Registrar and assembles all data regarding Belgian bankruptcies.\u00a0 It works on line.\u00a0 It helps creditors, receivers and magistrates to cooperate and offers them a global view on the process. From 1st April 2017, the courts clerks accept no more papers, only digitalized versions; except for foreign creditors or private persons having no attorney to represent them (they will be able to use Regsol but it will not be compulsory for them).\u00a0 The paper file remains available for ongoing bankruptcies (process started prior April) Regsol\u2019s benefits are obviously to minimize administration efforts and costs and speed up the process at court level as well as boost communication and access to information. To introduce your claim, you\u2019ll need to login (name, company ID (VAT number), address, etc.), to look for your debtor (search on name, VAT, etc.), to introduce the amount due and upload supporting documents, to specify your status (priority creditor or standard creditor).\u00a0 You can also provide a short explanation to the receiver.\u00a0 The system shows then a summary that you can modify or confirm. The Regsol platform will be financed by the declarations (6 EUR for the introduction of a claim; except for Public Authorities who get a free ride).\u00a0 Besides, annual dues will be required depending on the gross assets of the bankrupt entity (nil for gross assets < 1500 EUR; 25 EUR\/year for gross assest between 1500 EUR and 5000 EUR; 295 EUR\/year for gross assets > 5000 EUR).\u00a0 This annual due will be levied at source on the amounts distributed to creditors.
