The point of the exercise, therefore, is to contain the costs for creditor and debtor alike and to do what needs to be done so that the file is not presented for settlement by a court of law. Seen thus, the<strong>debt recovery company<\/strong>may be regarded as the last chance saloon where further debts\/costs may skilfully be avoided. So, it is best for all concerned to pull together and find a feasible, realistic solution for both sides. \u00a0 To be honest, we are in the business to make money, let us not deny it. Then there is also the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.abrbvi.be\/fr\/the-belgian-collectors-association\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABR-BVI<\/a>, the official coordinating body for debt recovery companies in Belgium that ensures that its members comply with the relevant<strong>legal rules<\/strong>and honour the<strong>professional ethics<\/strong>. We would therefore advise anyone harbouring doubts regarding the recovery operations with which he\/she may be confronted, as first control, to check whether the agency in question is in fact a member of the supervisory coordinating body.
