Meeting debtors at their place
On-site visit: direct contact, immediate results
At TCM Belgium, we believe in the power of personal contact. When amicable steps by letter, phone or e-mail do not yield results, we take the next, effective step: a home or office visit.
Why a home visit?
90% of debtors pay immediately upon visit.
In our experience, a face-to-face conversation often makes all the difference. The visitor makes it clear in a direct, respectful way that an amicable solution is in everyone’s best interest – and that a constructive way out is still possible, without court proceedings.
Smart technology in our pocket
Our visitors are equipped with a tablet (iPad) on which they use an online customized application:
- file information immediately,
- be able to show documents that clarify the creditor’s position,
- Be able to record everything on the spot – no more paperwork required.
This makes our operation more efficient, faster and more sustainable.
Clear reporting
After each visit, a digital visitor report is created immediately and automatically enters the file. This includes:
- a clear record of the conversation,
- possible photo documentation,
- figures or solvency information,
- and if applicable: a signed installment plan.
Your case manager will provide feedback on this with additional explanation and advice.
You can pay immediately
Our visitors not only accept cash payments, but are also equipped with a mobile payment terminal. This allows the debtor to pay smoothly by bank card and receives immediate proof of payment.
More than just collection
An on-site visit is not only useful to still obtain payment. It also provides you as a creditor with valuable insights:
- What is the debtor’s real situation?
- What are the chances of recovery?
- Does legal action make sense or not?
It is information that helps you make informed decisions for the next steps in the case.
