The Wet kwaliteit incassodienstverlening (Wki) is Dutch legislation that sets quality requirements for collection agencies and other out-of-court collection service providers. The act requires them to register, communicate transparently and meet strict rules on professional competence, reliability and the treatment of debtors. The aim is to better protect consumers and raise the quality of the collection market.
